2019 was a big year for us at the Wendell Learning Center (WLC). We unveiled our lineup of advanced laser dentistry courses, the Level Up series, taught to sold out courses, experimented (and struggled) with visually documenting laser dentistry, adding a microscope in the process, and met some incredible people along the way. In many ways 2019 represents our first FULL year in operation, and we’d like to extend an enormous thank you to everyone who’s been a part of our journey so far!
At the beginning of 2019 we made a commitment to be the kind of learning center that we, as dental practitioners, would like to attend ourselves. That meant intentionally engineering experiences to not only be educational but also at the same time both inspiring and fun. We placed additional emphasis on cultivating relationships and not just the ones between us and those attending our courses. We’ve tried to help catalyze relationships amongst those attending our courses as well as the much larger #SoleaNation and laser dentistry community in general.
Laser dentistry still represents a small niche in our profession, and in many ways we are the disciples spreading the word. As the word gets out, our non-laser colleagues become more curious about these lasers that can cut enamel. If you get the chance, let them know why it may be time to replace the drill!
Lastly, we’d like to thank all of those who’ve provided us feedback - and Google reviews -on our courses. We’re constantly striving to improve and have made a number of changes based on what you’ve said. We’ll see you in 2020...we’ve got some big things in store!
